Environment + Humans 🌱

Environment Interpretation Center

For my final year thesis project, I conceptualized an innovative Environmental Interpretation Center designed to serve as a vital nexus between urban dwellers and the natural world. This ambitious project aimed to address the growing disconnect between city residents and their surrounding ecosystems while promoting environmental awareness and conservation efforts.

Project Brief

The accelerated urban expansion brought on by globalization is causing population growth in metro cities e.g. Mumbai. Mumbai’s current environmental reserves have been obliterated by infrastructure development. The state of the reserves not only changed the city’s micro-climate, but it is also resulting a negative impact on locals’ health.

How might we help establish a strong relationship between Natural Environment and Humans?

Through studies of human psychology, construction techniques and landscape design; the project focuses on the necessity of conserving the natural environment in urban areas in order to raise awareness and enhance human well-being
